a cat ate part of my foot :|

(ok more specifically he chewed off part of the plantar wart on my heel and ate it, and yes i know "go get that thing removed" - well i don't have medical insurance and duct tape doesn't stay stuck to my foot)

You want to make that wart die, because plantars warts can spread. A doctor is unnecessary however. I recommend using salicylic acid, which is cheap and effective.

yeah I know I've had the goddamn thing for several years, it is just now starting to spread though. so... i'm ignorant, salicylic acid can be got at any pharmacy, yes?

Yup, any pharmacy. It's cheap. It'll sting a bit. It's the main ingredient in "Compound W", but it's in a number of things, including cheaper generics

Or you can tape a piece of garlic to it. Not quite so bloody and gross. XD You have to wear it for at least a day, but it should go away within a week.

According to Dilly's friend it does. She knows a crap-load about alternative medicine and the medicine of plants, so I can't see that it -wouldn't- work. I haven't tried it because I don't want my feet to stink. XD

When I had warts I used over the counter verruca solution on them, because it's stronger it really burns the fuck out of them...although a cat is fine too XD
